Erika Diaz-Castro | Teacher & Writer
Erika is a devoted Christ follower, wife, and homeschooling mom. Her love of reading and writing began at a young age, when she wrote book reports and reviews for fun, and blogged on multiple sites throughout grade school and high school. Before giving her life to Christ as an adult, Erika continued to blog on Tumblr and WordPress.
After committing her life to Jesus, Erika grew to love the Bible, eventually becoming a student of the Word. Her love of God’s Word bred a love of theology. In 2021, she founded Her Renewed Strength Co. (HRS), where she is now on a mission to help more women get in the Word of God. At HRS, Erika is the CEO; writer, host, and producer of Her Renewed Strength-The Podcast; editor of the HRS blog; and an HRS blog contributor on topics related to apologetics, Bible, Christian living, and theology.
Erika also holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from Rutgers University. She is currently a graduate student at Dallas Theology Seminary, completing a Master of Theology (ThM) degree with a concentration in Apologetics and Philosophy. Erika uses her training and knowledge to teach Bible and theology to 1st-4th graders, high schoolers, and women of all ages.
